New laser test facilities at Servomex will enhance customer support

Servomex has expanded its service capability  and strengthened its commitment to supporting customers locally with a new laser test bench at our Houston, Texas facility.

Introduced as part of the global service strategy, the laser test system will localize service and support to customers in and around the Houston area. This new test service will increase efficiency and turnaround time of laser problem diagnosis and repairs significantly.

Up until now, any lasers requiring repair were sent to the UK, so this will considerably speed up the process by carrying out the work on site in Houston.

Customers will also benefit from on-site specialist laser repairs including root cause analysis, as well as installation, commission and troubleshooting.

Mark Calvert, Global Head of Service, said: “Our aim is to provide excellent local customer service.  We are always considering ways to improve our support to customers, so it makes perfect sense to introduce a laser test bench in Houston. Offering support where are customers are located, or nearby, means we can be responsive, reduce travel and see a reduction in turn-around times.
