Job description
To support India customer base for start-up, commissioning and routine service, including breakdown and training.
The Field Service Engineer will provide support for all Servomex Analysers and Systems. They will conduct service training for customers and Servomex employees as well as provide technical support to customers and distributors throughout India and from time to time the wider EMEAI region.
The position will require travel throughout India with occasional travel within the EMEAI region.
Key Responsibilities will include:
To service, repair and commission all Servomex products to ensure that the Company’s reputation is maintained and enhanced through exceeding expectations and delighting customers.
To carry out FAT and SAT of systems
To actively be involved with quoting service activities and pursuing potential business
To provide assistance with technical sales enquiries for Servomex products and help make our customers aware of the advantages of maintenance contracts.
To complete repair, service and commissioning reports and any other required documentation.
To ensure that Servomex equipment meets the relevant health and safety and local safety requirements and if not, ensure the customer accepts responsibility.
To communicate with relevant departments concerning problems with Servomex equipment and customer requirements using quality and customer complaint procedures.
To provide assistance with systems testing and build to the Systems Engineering department to ensure that systems meet the required performance and specification prior to shipment.
To take part in Customer Service improvement initiatives as required by the Service Manager.
Travel required including India wide and occasionally other European countries and Middle East for lengths of up to 3 weeks
Participation in forecasting and service planning calls
Any other duties and responsibilities as required by the business

Candidate specification

Experience in field repair of instrumentation
Customer focus and able to create long term relation with customers
Trouble shooting
Working experience in various industries, oil and gas, industrial gases, cement, food, chemical
System integration knowledge
Start up, commissioning, FAT, SAT
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, technical drawings
Available and able to travel inside various region of India and in other EMEA countries if requested
Local language
Fluent in English, written and spoken
