Are you an looking for your next challenge? We have a rare opportunity for an exceptional individual to undertake and take forward our RoHS III compliance activities. This is a 9 to 12-month appointment based out of our UK Technical Centre in Crowborough, East Sussex.

The Compliance Engineer will complete RoHS III Project work and support sustaining activities.

About the role:

  • Management and assessment of RoHS II/III/REACH Compliance implementation project.
  • Management of Material Compliance Declarations, Reports, Drawings, and other Supporting Documentation.
  • Working with Supply Chain, Supplier and Quality systems.
  • Working to Company’s policies, procedures, and standards.

About you:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A successful track record of performing in a Compliance Engineer role or similar
  • Engineering/Manufacturing background. (Compliance, Mechanical or Electronics)
  • Electro/Mechanical Engineering background
  • Knowledge of RoHS or Material Compliance Regulations
  • RoHS II/III or REACH Directive and Implementation
  • Experience in SAP Business System
  • Experience in MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team, working with Engineering team (Mechanical, Electronics, Compliance and Production), Vendors & Supply Chain

Desirable Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Other Material Compliance activities (REACH, Conflict Minerals, POP’s,
    CLP and DGR)
  • 3D & 2D CAD experience (SolidWorks & AutoCAD preferred).
  • Quality and Auditing functions

Job Type: 12-month contract

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Flexible start & finish times)
