1952 Servomex Controls Limited was formed.

1961 First manufacture of oxygen analysers using a paramagnetic cell design licensed from the Distillers Co.

1971 Servomex Controls joins the Taylor Instruments Group of the Sybron Corporation.

1987 Servomex Limited completes a ‘management buyout’ from the Sybron Corporation.

1989 Servomex plc formally listed on the London Stock Exchange.

1999 Servomex plc acquired by Fairey Group plc.

2000 Fairey Group plc acquires Spectris AG.

2001 Fairey Group plc renames itself Spectris plc.

2001 Kaohsuing (Taiwan) systems facility opened

2001 Direct presence established in Shanghai

2002 Servomex celebrates 50 years of excellence.

2002 Servomex Company Inc. relocated to Sugar Land, near Houston, Texas

2003 Direct presence established in Tokyo
